Convert a physical SIM to an eSIM
Discover how to convert your physical SIM card to an eSIM on the same phone. Your physical SIM card is deactivated once the eSIM is activated and should be kept for at least 14 days before being discarded.
1.
From within the Settings app, tap Cellular.
2.
Scroll to and tap Convert to eSIM.
3.
Tap Convert to eSIM again.
4.
Tap Convert to eSIM again.
5.
Double click the Side button on your device to confirm the eSIM conversion.
After converting your physical SIM to an eSIM you may safely remove your physical SIM from your device.

You've completed the steps!
