Reframe, extend, and clean up photos with Apple Intelligence
Use the clean up tool to remove unwanted objects from the background of your photos with Apple Intelligence.
1.
From Photos, select the photo you want to edit.

Tap the Edit icon.

Tap Tools.
From Tools, you can use Clean Up, Extend, and Reframe to make AI-powered edits to your photo.

Tap Reframe to automatically adjust the composition of your photo.
Use two fingers to pan, zoom, or rotate the photo.
5.
Tap Extend, then pinch to zoom out or adjust the crop to add more to the scene.
Photos generates content to fill the newly added areas of the photo.

Tap Clean Up, then tap, brush, or circle an object you want to remove.
Tap the Clean Up Mode menu to select Auto, Fast, or High Quality. Use Fast for quick touch-ups or High Quality for detailed work. You can also pinch to pan and zoom.
7.
When you're finished editing, tap Done.
