Changing your voicemail greeting
Record a new greeting for callers to hear when they reach your voicemail. This will be played to the caller before they are able to leave a message.
1.
From within the Phone app, tap Voicemail.
2.
Tap Greeting.
You may need to contact your carrier to set up visual voicemail if you see a Call Voicemail prompt.
3.
Select the type of greeting you would prefer to use.
For this tutorial we will be creating a Custom Greeting.
4.
Tap Record.
5.
Speak your custom greeting into your iPhone, then tap Stop when you are finished.
6.
Tap Save.
7.
You've completed the steps!
