Editing group text information
You can edit a group in your messaging app. You change things such as the name of the group, add contacts. send a location, and more.
1.
From a group text message, tap People.
2.
Tap Change Name and Photo.
3.
Tap the Enter a Group Name field.
4.
Enter a name for the group.
5.
Tap the Photo icon.
For this tutorial we are choosing to upload a photo to use for the group. You may choose to take a new picture, select an emoji, enter initials, or choose a provided image for your group, however steps may vary.
6.
Select the photo you would like to use as the group's image.
7.
Crop the image as desired.
8.
Tap Choose.
9.
Tap Done.
If desired, select a filter.
10.
Tap Done again.
11.
Tap Done again.
12.
You've completed the steps!
