Screening a call before answering
Call Screen allows user to access a real-time transcript between a caller and their Google Assistant before answering. Screen your calls to minimize on time wasted with telemarketers and spam calls.
1.
From an incoming call, tap Screen call.
Google Assistant will automatically alert the incoming caller that their call is being screened and ask them to state their name and the purpose of the call.
2.
Select a response for Google Assistant to get more information.
You can also hang up, report the call as spam, or answer the call.
3.
Once you have the information you need, select how you'd like to manage the call.

You've completed the steps!
