Managing the battery
Learn how to manage the battery on your device. Taking care of your battery will extend your battery life.

From the Home screen, swipe up to view your apps.

Tap Settings

Scroll to Device care
4.
Tap Device care.
5.
Tap Battery.
6.
Tap Battery usage.
From this screen, you can view details about how your battery power is being used.
7.
Select an app to view more information.
8.
Tap the Back icon.
9.
Tap the Back icon again.
10.
Tap Power mode.
11.
Tap Optimized to enable a battery optimization recommendation.
12.
Tap or slide the Adaptive power saving switch to ON.
Power saving mode saves battery power by limiting access to certain apps, including the flashlight.
