1. Insert the microUSB end of the microUSB cable into the microUSB port on the device.

2. Insert the USB end of the microUSB cable into an available USB port on the computer.
   
3. On the PC, click the Start icon.
   
4. Click Computer.
   
5. Double-click Kindle.
   
6. Double-click the desired storage location.
   
7. Navigate to the desired files.
   
8. Drag and drop the desired files to and from the device and PC.
   
9. Android File Transfer is required to transfer files to and from a Mac. Download Android File Transfer here.
   
10. With the device powered on, insert the microUSB end of the microUSB cable into the port on the device.
    
11. Insert the USB end of the microUSB cable into an open port on the Mac.
    
12. Android File Transfer will open. Navigate to the desired folder.
    
13. Drag and drop files to/from the device drive to transfer.
