1. Use your AT&T device as a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot to share your data connection with Wi-Fi-capable devices such as: other smartphones, tablets, netbooks, MP3 players, and more.

2. From the home screen, drag down from the Notification bar.
   
3. Tap the Settings icon.
   
4. Tap the CONNECTIONS tab, then tap More networks.
   
5. Tap Tethering and Mobile hotspot.
   
6. Tap Mobile Hotspot.
   
7. Tap the Mobile Hotspot switch to toggle on/off.
   
8. When Mobile Hotspot is active, the Hotspot icon will display in the notification bar.
   
9. To configure the Hotspot, press the Menu key.
   
10. Tap Configure.
    
11. Tap the Network SSID field and enter the desired network name.
    
12. Tap the Security drop-down to change the network security type.
    
13. Tap the Password field to change the network password.
    
14. Edit additional options if desired, then tap SAVE.
    Note: To show advanced options, tap 'Show advanced options'.
    
15. Connected devices are displayed beneath Connected devices.
