1. To back up your Gear to your phone, from your companion phone, navigate to and select the Samsung Gear app.
   
2. Select SETTINGS.
   
3. Select About Gear.
   
4. Select Back up and restore.
   
5. Select Back up data.
   Note: This feature allows you to back up your Gear settings (except Remote connection, Auto lock and Text templates).
