1. When the SIM card is missing, the Missing SIM icon will display in the Notification bar.
   
2. The SIM & microSD tray is located on the bottom right side of the device. To insert a SIM or microSD card, insert a SIM tool or paperclip into the small hole to eject the SIM & microSD tray.
   
3. Insert the Nano SIM into the SIM & microSD tray with the gold contacts facing down and the notched edge on the upper right. Gently press the SIM card in until it clicks into place.
   
4. To expand the storage capacity of the device, insert a micro SD/memory card into the microSD card slot on the SIM & microSD tray with the gold contacts facing down and the notched edge on the upper left.
   Note: To prevent data corruption, it is recommended to unmount your memory card before removing it. To unmount your memory card, swipe down from the Notification bar then select the Settings icon > General tab > Storage > Eject icon.
   
5. Insert the SIM & microSD tray back into the device.
   
6. To remove the battery, press the button on the lower left side of the device then pull down to remove the battery. 
   
7. To insert the battery, with the gold contacts on the top, left side, slide the Battery into the bottom of the device until it clicks into place.
