- You can download the update via Firmware Over the Air (FOTA).
- You must connect your Netgear Nighthawk to the AT&T data network to download the update.
- You must connect your phone, tablet, or laptop to the to the Netgear Nighthawk’s Wi-Fi® network to download and verify the software update.

Update software
- Make sure that your phone, tablet, or laptop is connected to the Netgear Nighthawk's Wi-Fi network. network.
- From your device's Web browser, go to http://attwifimanager.
- Enter your Username and Password, then select SIGN IN.
- Select Settings at the top of the page.
- Select Administration, then select Firmware Update.
- Select Check for updates now.
- Follow the prompts to download and install the update.
Verify software update
- Make sure that your phone, tablet, or laptop is connected to the Netgear Nighthawk's Wi-Fi network.
- From your device's Web browser, go to http://attwifimanager.
- Enter your Username and Password, then select SIGN IN.
- Select Settings at the top of the page.
- Select Administration, then select Firmware Update.
- The Firmware version displays.
- Your device has the latest software if the Firmware version matches the latest update.
