Great service
I have been very impressed not only by the product but the crew at the Bangor store! I was unsure when they told me I would have a hard time getting service in some areas, I was thrilled to find out I had great reception in those places!!

Quality has definitely gone down
Agree with many of the recent reviews - my old Velocity was SO much better. This doesn't hold a charge at all and it's only about 3 months old. It's also hard to "wake up" unless I use my trouble shoot app on my computer.

Work from home and on the road

I use this on days when my xfinity WiFi at home is so poor I cannot host a Skype meeting. I work from home and always get reliable connection even when the 4G is only at 2 bars. I also boondock camping in a camper van and this is the only internet source I need to work in some fairly remote places. Great device that I have used some variety of for the past 4 years.

I normally never write reviews but this time I feel like it needs it! We had the Velocity before this one and we loved it. We had it for awhile and it started acting funny. So we decided to “upgrade” they say. This model is so cheaply made. With the Velocity you could see how much usage you were using, you could see what devices were linked to it, and it was all touch screen. The one has nothing. It just shows how many devices are hooked up. Nothing else. I also fully charged it like it said before I did anything with it. It hasn’t even been 24 hours and it’s already dead. We live in a two story home. It’s not big by any means. The box is located in the kitchen which is a central location. My kids can’t watch things upstairs in their room or in the basement. I work out of my basement so I can’t even use it.

It does the job, some times, for the most part.

The screen cracked on it about 15 minutes after I peeled off the protective film. I put it in my bag, and the force from the laptop case was too much for it I guess. It only gets about 1/2 as many bars at any given time as my cell phone right next to it gets, but the speed is acceptable. 30Mbps/down and around 10Mbps/Up. It gets the job done, but just barely for what I need it for. I work remotely, and using this I can use it about 4-5 days per month based on the speeds (limited work efficiency) and the lack of an unlimited data plan.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I love the hotspot. I use it for school because right now I don’t have WiFi. I’m able to manage my WiFi also. I just love it.

NOT WORKING!

I got my device quick in the mail HOWEVER it came inactivated. I called and chatted for a good hour when my device was supposedly activated. Was told I’d have to wait for about 20minutes before it’ll start working. Well it’s been 4 days since my chat and it’s STILL NOT WORKING. if only it came activated I’d be able to rate my product properly. But for now it’s 1star.

If you have been there before and your wireless device had low bars, keep in mind, the same LTE signal is used for the hotspot.
