*AT&T 5G requires compatible plan and device. Coverage not available everywhere. AT&T 5G+ is offered in limited locations in specific cities. Device will display 5G+ coverage indicator when used in an area where 5G+ coverage is available. To get broad mid-band 5G+ service, you need a band n77 capable device. To get high-band service in AT&T 5G+ Zones, such as venues, airports, and other points of interest, requires approximate unobstructed line-of-sight to the signal source plus a band n260 capable device. Wireless technology varies by device. See Feature and specs above to see this device’s wireless technology capabilities. For coverage details see att.com/coverageviewer. **AT&T ended 2G and 3G services on its owned U.S. network. We may offer 2G and 3G when roaming. AT&T also may slow your services to 2G speeds when roaming.

1The display has rounded corners that follow a beautiful curved design, and these corners are within a standard rectangle. When measured as a standard rectangular shape, the screen is 6.27 inches (iPhone 18 Pro) or 6.86 inches (iPhone 18 Pro Max) diagonally. Actual viewable area is less.

iPhone 18 Pro FAQS:

What is new about the iPhone 18 Pro?
The iPhone 18 Pro introduces a variable aperture main camera, a first for any iPhone. The lens physically opens and closes to control exposure, giving shooters more control over depth of field and low-light performance. It also adds a vapor chamber cooling system, the A20 Pro chip built on a 2-nanometer process, and a redesigned Dynamic Island that can display up to three Live Activities simultaneously. The phone runs iOS 27 at launch.

How much does the iPhone 18 Pro cost?
The iPhone 18 Pro starts at $1,199 for 256GB. Storage tiers and pricing:

256GB: $1,199
512GB: $1,399
1TB: $1,799
2TB: $2,399

Through AT&T’s 36-month installment plan, the 256GB model starts at $33.34 per month at full retail price.

What are the iPhone 18 Pro storage options?
The iPhone 18 Pro is available in 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB.

What colors does the iPhone 18 Pro come in?
Black, Silver, Glacier, and Burgundy.

What camera system does the iPhone 18 Pro have?
The iPhone 18 Pro has a three-camera system:

Main (48MP Pro Fusion): Variable aperture, the headlining new feature
Ultra Wide (48MP): 13mm, f/2.2, 120-degree field of view
Telephoto (48MP): 8x optical zoom, up to 40x digital zoom

The front camera is 18MP with Center Stage. Video supports 4K Dolby Vision up to 120fps, and Cinematic mode effects can now be applied after capture.

What chip is inside the iPhone 18 Pro?
The A20 Pro chip, built on a 2-nanometer process. It includes a 6-core CPU, 7-core GPU with Neural Accelerators, and a dual 16-core Neural Engine. Apple states the GPU is up to 40% faster than the A19 Pro with up to 50% more memory bandwidth.

What is variable aperture on the iPhone 18 Pro?
Variable aperture means the camera’s main lens can physically widen or narrow its opening, similar to how a DSLR controls exposure. Every iPhone before the 18 Pro used a fixed aperture, relying only on shutter speed and ISO to manage light. A wider aperture lets in more light and blurs backgrounds more strongly. A narrower aperture keeps more of the scene in sharp focus. The iPhone 18 Pro controls this automatically, but Pro controls allow manual adjustment.

Does the iPhone 18 Pro have Face ID?
Yes. The iPhone 18 Pro uses Face ID for authentication, the same as previous Pro models.

How fast does the iPhone 18 Pro charge?

The iPhone 18 Pro charges to 50% in approximately 15 minutes with a 60W USB-C adapter. Wireless (MagSafe) charging reaches 50% in about 30 minutes.

Should I upgrade from iPhone 17 Pro to iPhone 18 Pro?

The meaningful upgrade reasons are the variable aperture camera, the A20 Pro chip with its stronger Neural Engine for on-device AI, the vapor chamber, and a battery improvement. If you shoot a lot of photos or use Apple Intelligence features heavily, the gap is noticeable. If you primarily use your phone for calls, messaging, and streaming, the differences will be less apparent. iPhone 17 Pro owners on a two-year cycle who held off last year will see a more significant jump.
