AWESOME!!!

If you look at my other reviews for the Samsung Propel and Fuze, you may think I'm finickey and insatiable. However, this phone is DA BOMB!!!! It was love at first sight and it just keeps getting better!
It's fast, it's snappy, it's accurate, it's fun, it's loud if you want it to be, it's so intuitive it almost like there's a piece of brain in there!!! Any delay RIM took in bringing this to market was clearly well used to iron out any glitches.
BRAGGING LIST:
-Awesome display!!
-Track ball is fabulous. Fast and accurate. Don't even thinkabout touch-screen - you won't miss it! Sensitivity is programmable to fit your taste.
-FAST, FAST, FAST!!! No waiting for processing when you select an app.
-Awesome external speaker. People often look for desktop speakers when they hear it and are surprised not to find any!
-Awesome camera with good speed and auto-flash.
-Standard headphone jack plugs right into my car stereo or any standard external speaker.
-Easy to use media player with great sound quality.
-Unbelievable custom notification options. It even knows whether or not it's in its holster!!!
-Great package with leather case & clip, USB, and some very snazzy & secure fitting earbuds with mic and control button. No real need for bluetooth. It automatically pauses the MP3 player for incomming calls, and reverts back when the call is over - all through the headphone controller.
-Downloadable mobi TV - just go to media home.
-Two easy and programmable short cut buttons.
-Can open Word, PPT, and excel attachments.
-Great size - fits in your pocket if you want.

The Blackberry Bold is a great phone on paper and appears to be the best Blackberry to date. But after having used this phone for the 8 months it's been available on AT&T I would have to say that this is one of the worst phones I have ever used.
Feature-wise it is great. The screen is awesome, the physical keyboard is perhaps the best among smartphones, and it has a very loud speakerphone. It is also world-roaming capable, has a camera with flash, accepts Micro SD, takes video, and has a very nice email feature.
But here are the problems that I have had: random rebooting (~5 mins each time to reboot), extremely fragile case and lcd screen (I'm on my second unit and this one is broken now too), "call failed" errors, low memory warnings (the phone will begin to delete your data without asking when memory is low), a keyboard that would not register the key typed but another random letter.
General issues with phone: very slow internet browser (check youtube for a demo, it is embarrassingly slow), unstable operating system (random freezes and java error messages), short battery (it will not last an entire day of 'normal use), once radio is off from no battery it will not make calls or receive data until it has been charged for 10-15 mins.
I don't hate Blackberry, in fact, in many ways I still like it. But some of the things I have experienced with this phone have been extremely annoying and reduce my productivity. Random reboots are very annoying when you need to make a call, say for a meeting, and your phone is in the middle of a 5 minute reboot cycle. Or you know that you are in a spot with good reception yet your Bold refuses to cooperate and gives you multiple "Call Failed" messages, also annoying when you must make a call. Low memory messages are a daily thing now, and the Bold handles this by deleting your stuff - having emails deleted is normal now. I once saw my phone have the low memory error, then reboot, then my wallpaper was changed to the default one - surprising. For about a month, the keyboard would not work correctly. If I typed the letter A, an O or U would appear; this happened for about 1/3 of the keys. My friends thought it was funny, but because of the keyboard input problem, I could not even unlock my phone. For some reason, after about one month, it magically fixed itself and started working, very strange.
I'm not going to complain about the phone being fragile because it was me who damaged it, but I will say that it is almost ridiculously fragile. I don't throw around my phones my any means, but a cracked lcd from light pressure that any other phone could handle and a cracked frame without ever having dropped the phone is unreasonable. By the way, the cracked frame now makes the battery cover latch loose and the rear cover sometimes comes off.
I've tried to give Blackberry many chances. I've even spent many hours wiping and reinstalling the OS and reading forums about how to fix my issues. But I just don't have the time to always be fixing my phone, and the biggest reason, it is more of an annoyance than a benefit.

Best Blackberry Evrerrr!!!!

This is by far the best blackberry that ive used thus far! its way faster than my last phone (storm) and better looking than my last pearl! the keyboard is spacious and the colors are blazing! the speed is superb and the sound quality is very crisp for a mobile device very nice!! must have

This phone is easy to use. Has many features that I enjoy. I can easily upload pictures. I love the picture quality. The Black Berry Messenger feature is great for keeping in contact with people internationally. Its overall a great phone!! I just wish the phone was a flip blackberry so that when forgetting to hit the lock button i wont dial people accidentally.

Everything I need in a phone!

Despite some early problems with the blackberry company, the blackberry bold has been a great phone. I really enjoy the personal email setup, which allows me to receive my personal emails through the blackberry. I also love the texting capabilities. With the calendar and available downloadable apps, this phone is everything I need to keep things straight. I also use my blackberry as a scanner, to balance my checkbook, and keep check on my AT&T account.

All bite no bark

The Bold for me was suppose to be better than the previous Blackberry I owned because it had better features such as wi-fi, higher resolution screen, and it was built with a one piece key around the trackball which is how my older blackberry broke -(trackball popped right out)
The only notable service that I appreciated with my phone and I use my phone for everything is how loud the speakers can get and the ease of texting/writing documents/emails.
The GPS system never worked unless I purchased the AT&T GPS Navigation App but there was a monthly fee to it and I could never add movies onto my phone (which has awesome speakers and high-def screen) unless I kept buying more memory, and I went to back to the AT&T store several times to do so.
Honestly, AT&T offers a large variety of smart phones that get the job done. Unless you need a simple smart phone to do the basics with low expectations of using fancy apps or large amounts of memory, I wouldn't recommend purchasing this phone.
