Good features
I recently purchased this phone 6 days ago, and overall I'm happy with it.
BAD: The problems that I do have with this phone are that it's not really a "smartphone". Majority of the features can be found in any other phone that AT&T provides. Even for my thin fingers, the keyboard is a bit small to navigate. There is no flash for the camera either which makes taking quality pictures in low lit areas tough. Not good graphics, pixelated on the internet.
GOOD: Has a loud and clear speaker option. Easy axcess to e-mail. I text regulary and the battery lasted 2 days.

I've had this BB since August of 2011, so that's about 9 months and I'm ready to upgrade to a different phone. It worked fine for a few months and I had no problems, but now that I've had it for almost a year, I've had so many problems with it. And this is my first BB, actually my first smartphone.
1) It freezes A LOT
2) It shuts down randomly
3) The track pad will 8 out of 10 times does its own thing, and won't let me control where I'm going on the screen
4) The battery life is poor
5) It drops calls
6) Sometimes it doesn't show me my notifications until hours later
7) I have to take the battery out to get it to work properly
Prosgames, speaker, Wi-Fi capable, ease of use, good for texting
Consbattery life, limited memory, freezes, track pad
No, I do not recommend this product.

Great phone!

This phone is amazing! I do not like the touch screen phones so I figured I would try a blackberry and I'm so glad I did . It's small and light weight. Wifi connects are extremely fast and the battery life lasts for days! I would definitely recommend this phone.

Disapointed with battery, but good for internet
14 years ago
The only bad things i hated about this phone was that it had not the best quality of camera, but east to use and great for texting. But it happened to me that it would scroll up when I would be trying to text something, it would scroll up the conversation. Overall, pretty good phone, but can DEFINITELY freeze up sometimes.
Prosmenus, games, speaker, Wi-Fi capable, durable, ease of use, good for texting
Consbattery life, poor navigation, freezes, bad camera/ video

Q: Can I synchronize the 3G Curve BB to my computer's e-mail?
2 Answers
A: Hi Greg,
Yes, you can synch your BB to your computer's email. It's actually quite easy to do so.
Click on your menu, go to set up (the icon is of a BB with a green tool wheel on it), click on it, and under set up is Email Accounts. You will then click on it and go through the steps it asks you about what email you want to set up on your BB. You need to make sure that you're connected to your mobile network in order for this to work.
I hope this helps you.

Q: can you block a number and what does it say when blocked
14 years ago
2 Answers
A: Hello, my name is AnnelleM and I am with AT&T.
To block a number, you will need to sign up for our Smart Limits feature. For 4.99 per month, you will be able to block voice and text messages for up to 20 numbers at a time.
The message for incoming text says, "The wireless subscriber you are trying to reach is not accepting incoming msgs at this time. The message for incoming voice is "We're sorry but the phone number you are trying to reach has been blocked by your wireless account owner."
To view other benefits of Smart Limits, please visit our website at www.att.com/wireless
This is the only method of blocking numbers that we have at this time.
If you need further information, please email me at ATTAnnelleM@att.com. I am available from 2-11pm Monday through Friday.

Q: Is a text plan required in addition to the data plan
14 years ago
1 Answer
A: When I purchased my phone last year, a texting plan was not mandatory. But you may want to consider one, depending on how much of a texter you are. Otherwise you could be looking at a large bill. I purchased the unlimited texting plan for peace of mind, at my own will soon afterwards.
