by far the worst phone
Do not ever get this phone I've had to have it replaced and each time the phone had the exact same problems. The phone shuts off on its on when the battery is full and constantly says there is no sin card in it. This phone should be discontinued. Save yourself the money and trouble get a different phone

Pick a different Windows 8 phone
I have had an HTC Windows 8X phone since it was released. I've had this device replaced 3 times since I got it (thank God for Best Buy insurance). The first 2 devices I got had hardware problems that no one could figure out. The third one was dropped and the screen shattered with pieces falling out. I've never seen a screen shatter like that. I'm on my 4th version of this phone and I can't wait to upgrade to a better Windows phone. I had the Samsung Windows 7 phone and was forced to upgrade because my On/Off/Lock Screen button wore down after having the phone for 2 years. I would prefer that phone over this one. Battery life has gone down significantly in the 6 months I've had this particular device and I've had to turn off all background tasks just so it will make it through the day. The phone is just very ticky and has to be shut down every two or three days so it will operate properly. Sometimes it freezes when I click send on a text. Sometimes it perpetually loads an app or a page and I have to shut it down for it to respond to anything. The WiFi capabilities are average at best. The only redeeming quality about this phone is that it takes decent picture and video. But you can do better that with any other Windows Phone. I wanted to like this phone but I've had such a terrible experience with it that I will never buy an HTC phone again. Looking at Nokia for my next Windows upgrade.
Prostakes nice pictures & video

Too Many Problems
I have had this phone for two months and I had to restore it back to factory settings because it would not let me change color for tiles. It also goes to silent mode by it self. My wife's does the same thing yes we got them at the same time big mistake!!I wanted the HTC ONE but at the time it didn't have the same deal for two year contract.

My new favorite phone!!
I bought this phone about 6 months ago because I disliked the I-phones and I wasn't crazy about Android. Plus, I love the windows operating system, so I took a dive and went with the HTC Windows 8X because I have had decent HTC phones in the past.
I love every part of this phone! It is so easy to use and I have never had any problems with it. The battery life is usually good, it depends on how much you use it that day and what apps you are running. I have had NO issues with the battery.
LIVE TILES, need I say more?? You can completely customize your phone with different live tiles, you can even change the color and size of them, it is so much fun and I change my screen at least once a week.
The phone has free music ID, always a plus! Also, seeing as it has a windows operating system, it is so user friendly with my laptop. Easy to sync the two and add/remove files. Also, you can get the Adobe app and easily download most files to your phone, including word docs, etc.
A couple times, twice in 6 months to be exact, I have had issues where the screen will not tilt sideways when you move the phone. But I just re-started the phone and problem solved. No biggie, just something I noticed that barely happens anyway.
The camera is amazing, takes beautiful pictures. The only slight annoyance is that you cannot zoom while filming, you have to zoom before you start filming. But that is minor.
Beats Audio is quite enhancing, but with this particular windows phone, the beats audio won't work while playing videos/music out right on the phones speakers, it is only enabled when I plug the device into an outside source like outside speakers, headphones, AUX jack in my car, etc. But when the Beats Audio kicks in, man is it amazing!
Another cool feature is the talk and text. You can verbally speak to the phone and tell it what to text. This is also cool when I enable the Bluetooth for my car, because you can have the phone read incoming texts as well as respond to them without ever having to pick up the phone via Bluetooth in the car. This makes texting and driving legal!!
I have noticed that the App market is not as diverse as with other phones, but the selection is decent and I haven't had issues finding the Apps I need.
I am sold on the windows phone and I already know I will remain faithful to it in the future. Can't wait to see what new windows phones come out!!
Prosvibrant screen color, live tiles!!, ease of use, camera, beats audio, talk and text, music id
