Dont believe that the screen will not crack!!
I just purchased this phone for my husband. (replacing his old dura force, which never cracked). He had this phone less than a week, put it in his back pocket (did not sit on it) and now it has a cracked screen. The phone was not dropped, it doesnt have a scratch on it. but the screen is cracked. AT&T will not replace it!!!! I have been on the phone with AT&T for 2 days and hours. It doesn't matter. (BYW I'm still on hold! going on over 2 hours) VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH AT&T.

No Bloat Ware

I use this phone because I am a maintenance technician and work in hazardous environments and because I prefer a rugged phone over a more fancy styled phone. I owned the Kyocera DuraForce Pro and upgraded to this phone. It has a more streamlined shape than the Pro did and more ram and memory. But what really impressed me was AT&T did not load it up with any bloat ware. It only came with what Kyocera installed and what comes stock from Google. Very pleased with the phone.

Quite Happy with this reliable phone.

Acquired Phone in September of 2020. I don't have a rugged lifestyle, but I want reliability in my phone. This phone is that. I don't have to worry about the phone in the rain. Or the bathtub. It's watertight. I love that. Phone seems to be pretty durable, but I'm not dropping it on purpose. I've had it for 2 years, no cracks in my screen. I am quite happy with this phone.
For complaints, the phone is black, which makes it really hard to find if you misplace it. I got a bright green phone case for it. That helped. User fixable.
Phone also doesn't have any slots to mount a strap or rope to, that's something they should fix - if the phone was on a strap, then when I drop it, it doesn't fall at all because it's still strapped to me. I like the durability, but why test it?
Anyway, quite happy with this phone, and with AT&T for making it an option.

Phone has a mind of its own , goes into some mode that causes it to be useless until it decides to work again . During a call ,phone to ear screen goes haywire . It will send multiple texts on its own while in the pocket . Currently zoned out ,a menu appears that is useless and phone will not stay active long enough to retrieve any data. When it works it is as tough as a Ram diesel . Its kinda like a trip to the casino !

Good phone for the money.

I have only had phone for a week and am basing this review on the ease of configuring it to my preferences. I am good with computers and despite reading many articles on this specific issue I still cannot view any of the phones files on my win11 computer. I also cannot establish a bluetooth connection that lasts more than a minute, pairs right up, connects quickly but then disconnects. To get the apps/wigets/ringtones from my old phone I have had to transfer one at a time through the one drive, very clumsy and time consuming. Flashlight is not very bright, speakers are not as good as claimed. Now for the good, phone is rock solid and somewhat heavy, which I like, fingerprint scanner works every time, screen is sharp and bright and very sensitive even with thin gloves on, (even with a screen protector). Call reception is very good at my house, yet to be tested out in the woods/open water. Camera works well enough certainly up to my standards. Wireless charging is solid and fast even with a case on. Not an iphone or Samsung, but half the price and twice as tough.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Is The Kyocera DuraForce Pro2 recognized on AT&T towers as a fully 4G phone? I am currently using an older E6560 Kyocera DuraForce phone that is supposed to be 4G but is only recognized as 3G on AT&T towers, and I have been warned 3G is going away!
