Not disappointed!
I'm just tired of Samsung everyone buys them and whatever there are other phones out there and this one caught my eye and I haven't regretted my purchase! It just perfectly fits into my life style and look beautiful!

Lousy phone
Apps are useless, the ones provided will never be used. Google voice search is gone. To transfer from old phone to new phone requires wifi. Lost most of my photos and downloads. To search now must use google search bar, which for some reason either has hard time recognizing what's said or finds the most obscure results. The transfer was done with LG transfer app. Useless. AT&T says LG sets the phone up with apps and there's nothing they can do. Most of the useful apps were not included. Losing GSee more

Pre-ordered and received phone early on 3/28/2017. The LG G6 is what smartphone design is meant to be since the inception of touchscreen phones. It is made out of metal and glass which provides a very upscale flagship feel and the edges provide sufficient/secure grip. The 5.7" display is absolutely stunning, crisp, and maximizes screen real estate while leaving a very friendly sized phone for single handed use. The dual cameras can rival among the best competition but provides the wide angle shot which is exclusive to the LG lines. The phone is now water and dust resistant and the fingerprint scanner works like a charm. The LG android UI is now very simplistic but I still find myself using Nova Launcher for maximum customization and speed.
Why I chose this over the Samsung Galaxy S8? The curve screen! The curve screen looks amazing standalone but is ugly and kind of defeats the purpose when enclosed in a case. The curve screen is also inferior if you want to utilize a tempered glass screen protector because they never fit perfect and dust eventually gets under the screen due to imperfect adhesive. On the other hand, tempered glass protectors fit perfectly on the LG G6 flat screen and still looks wonderful with the right case. I am using Supershieldz tempered glass protector and Spigen Rugged Armor which is slim with great protection.
To summarize, I can't imagine a better designed phone for me!

two big issues

i got the phone froday march 31st. the phone stays hot. thought since its new maybe in a day or two it be fine. then last night plugged it in before bed. during the night unplugged it. woke up and phone is at 31% battery. and phone is hot. will have to take t to the store to replace.

Easy to use. Good features. Charging port screwed up in my 2nd year of ownership. Hard to charge and charges slow.

Good, relatively cheap, long lasting phone

Pushing almost 2 years now, and it's still holding up pretty well but definitely time for an upgrade. It's a teeny tiny bit slow, and camera is little grainier than I feel it should be.

Another option is to perform a Factory Reset (please note this will erase all data) by going to Settings, selecting Backup & reset, and then Factory data reset. - A: As a security feature you need to first log into your profile and set this up from there. The startup security stops anyone that may have your phone without your knowledge.
