I purchased this phone about a week ago and I love it! I previously had a Sony Ericsson Z750a and, even after a SIMM card change, had trouble making and receiving calls due to reception, and some calls were completely garbled. I had been looking for some time on the Internet and the AT&T store checking phones out, and asking the sales personnel the best phones for reception, and they said Nokia had the best reception by far! This has proven to be the case! This phone has perfect reception, no garbling, great speakerphone, no volume problems at all, easy navigation, wonderful battery life. I only wish that there could be more memory available through a memory card. I realize a lot of people have had problems with volume, but this is not the case with me. I would like to take a moment and make the distinction between reception and volume. I could stand in one area of my room and try to make a call but the blue bars would go away and I would get three beeps. I could turn around and sit down and the bars would return and the call would go through! It was as if I was in the forest, but I wasn’t! There were times I couldn't even gain access to the network! My new Nokia puts calls through no matter where I’m standing or sitting in my house! And the volume is great! It doesn’t matter whether it is in regular phone mode or speakerphone – I have had absolutely no trouble with the volume. I realize it's only been a week, but so far everything is great! I don't text, play games, go on-line, or take many pictures with the phone. I depend on the cell phone as my replacement for a landline phone, so I use it mainly as a 'phone'! I have used the Bluetooth feature to send some stuff between it and my computer with no problems. I even have a Bluetooth earpiece that connects quite easily and feels very comfortable! There is no freezing when using my own pictures as wallpaper, either. The phone is light and is a good size for me, keys are back-lit, tools like calendar, calculator, etc. may come in handy later on. Setting it up was a snap – I didn't even open the manual! I'm a 54 yr. old female 'geek', and I simply love this phone!! Thank you AT&T and Nokia for making such a great phone!!! By the way, I've been with AT&T (Bellsouth Mobility, Cingular, etc.) since June 6, 1996, and I wouldn't consider changing to another carrier! Not only does any other provider that I know of not support roll-over minutes, which really come in handy, but AT&T has always treated me well, provided excellent service with great value! Thanks again, AT&T!!!!
