Best phone I've ever used.
I have had this phone nearly a year. It has been a wonderful device. I can read on it without my glasses. Windows o.s. is getting better all the time. I will keep this phone until it dies, at which time I will replace it with another 1520 unless they come up with one carrying all the features plus more.

Phone only good for a few months
I have had this phone for about 6 months now and it is by far one of the worst phones I have ever had! In the beginning the phone was great! After about three months I noticed the phone would start to freeze up every now and then. I didn't pay it much attention, but now the phone freezes up all the time! It freezes up to the point where you can barely operate the phone for 5 minutes without it freezing and glitching! I have had a windows phone before this one and I didn't have these problems. Amazing Screen and Great battery!

I compared this to the Note 3 in the store and you could definitely tell the difference in build quality and just the feel was so much more premium compared to the Note 3 which is $100 more expensive. The screen, is big, bright and beautiful, 1080p definitely makes a difference on a screen this big. I've been able to get all the app's I've needed and the added Nokia collection app's add even more value on something that is already a great value. Battery life has been great, lasts me a full work day with multiple email accounts set to update every 30 minutes, heavy talking, and sometime web browsing. Overall it's a great buy and I would recommend the Nokia Flip case to protect the phone and for the folding the case into a stand.

Features from 920 missing in 1520

I am currently a happy Lumia 920 user and made the decision to upgrade to the 1520. I suppose I should have read the specifications and reviews before I purchased as the 1520 is missing a couple of very important (to me) features.
First, it does not offer built-in NFC charging. For a Nokia 920 user that has invested in charging plates (home and office) as well as a JBL Power Up this did not come as good news. Nokia is soon to offer a case that will allow it but I have since learned that the 920 is the only phone with this feature built-in. I think AT&T made a mistake by not adding this to all of their phones.
Secondly, the internal memory is only 16 GB, half of the smaller 920 which has 32 GB. Although the 1520 will allow a micro SD card as additional memory for music and photos, it does not help with the apps.
Overall, I think I could have adapted to the larger size and I liked the larger display and bigger battery capacity.

Bought it two years ago. This phone Dropped it several times and no problems.Super slim.Microsoft,Att,Lumia unbeatable pro team.Charges really fast.Still looks brand new.Had spent alot of time researching smartphones and decided on this one,this one,the 1520.Great touch key pad.Get and send text hands free using Cortana. It would be difficult to have any other phone after having this one.battery life is
Super.Didn't even need a car charger.

I upgraded to the 1520 because I loved my 1020. unfortunately the camera & video functions in the 1520 were a disappointment.
