Garbage phone didn't even keep it a month
An absolute bottom of the barrel phone hardly worth ten cents for the plastic it was wrapped in sure would have been a relief to get trade in price instead of nothing back at all.

This is truly samsung’s best phone ever! Beautiful, powerful, and with all the great features that we’ve been asking on the expensive flagship’s. Head phone jack on top, removable battery, sd card up to 1TB, Very loud speakers and so on, i have been always buying the expensive ones, but not anymore, this thing is a best!! Thank you SAMSUNG❤️❤️

Not a rugged phone

I got this phone to replace my Sonim XP10 but 1 accidentally dropped it when getting in my truck and the screen cracked. I paid $100 bucks to have screen replaced because I didn't put insurance on it, then I dropped it again doing yard work for my business and now it's inoperable. I went back to my Sonim XP10 because I dropped it many times and it still works like new with no issues like a true rugged phone is supposed to perform as designed.

I've had 3 XCover PRO models and this variant another step-up. The XCover6 PRO is a rugged top performing phone. Excellent design and high value for the cost. Use AI to optimize your setup and configuration.

Not durable.

This is a follow up to my review 2 months ago. My Xcover6 Pro screen "spider webbed" after a minor fall at 6 days old. I had to send it to Samsung to have the repairs Made. Over $200. I have had several phones in the Xcover series. And they had
a tough life but never broke. This one is noticeably smaller and feels more fragile than the others. Even the ATT sales person noticed how much smaller and less robust this phone appears to its predecessors. I am very familiar with MIL
spec durability testing and this phone is not durable. I purchased an Otter Box for it and that seems to help. It is odd that Otter box makes a cover for this. But did not make one for my previous phone because they said it did not need
one. The functional/operating part of this phone is really good. But please do not market it as durable. Because it is not. And that is what paid for.

An excellent step up from the XCover Pro

I've been an XCover Pro user for a long time and did not see a good upgrade path until I saw the XCover6 Pro.
It has the same rugged build and it has the field replaceable battery. That is the feature that I love the most, as I have lost several previous phones to battery failure that expanded the seams and lost the environmental integrity. From time to time I find myself in some extremely challenging environments, so I need a field rugged phone to keep up with me. The XCover Pro did that excellently and I ran it right up to its limits.
When I upgraded to the XCover6 Pro, I found the same excellent performance. In fact with twice the memory and faster processor it is running circles around my old phone. And it has enough room to hold my ERG lookup and all of my other incident management references. And it uses the same batteries, so I did not have to buy a new set of spares.
The physical package of the phone is larger, so the old pogo-pin charger did not work, but the new one works just fine. And the larger package gives me a bigger screen making it easier to view whatever I need to view.
