This is my 2nd Galaxy Z Flip
I REALLY wanted to like this cell...in fact I tried TWICE. Within 4 to 6 weeks ...you will notice a crease right where the cellphone folds. The 1st time this happened in 32 days so warranty was void the 2nd I had to file ins claim . NO WAY did I just receive "2 duds" people writing these reveiws are HAPPY at 1st....4 to 6 weeks later the phone is destroyed
Great concept I LOVED this cell for about 3 weeks ..both times and both times dissappointed. Im sorry but I.vote STAY AWAY. Lots of other ceSee more

I upgraded from iphone8 of which I’ve had for several years////What a great phone as it is so far ahead of the iPhone I had!!!! It’s fast and most beautiful screen!!! Clear and bright and phone is perfect size!!! Downloaded my apps immediately and call quality along with speaker is so much better!!! Yes Samsung, you have a winner with this phone!!! I have the mystic bronze and it’s beautiful and perfect to put in pockets!!! No cover for me and if you want something different then check out this phone!!!

I've had this phone for mabye 2 months. This thing bugs out like no other. The center is already busted. If you get this you have to get the warranty. My god this is the worst phone I've ever had

I went from Galaxy S9 Edge, purchased when it first came out, I upgraded because it wouldn't keep a charge and I could only use the speaker phone. All I can say is WOW! I love this phone. The touch sensitivity is awesome, at first it was a little too sensitive, but that on me.
Having been a long term Samsung customer, I swear by their products, theu have only gotten better over the years and this one is one exception. It hit the marks and then some.
It was very easy to customize to my needs, there were some differences, but not enough to make it difficult.
The love the cover screen and how it becomes a phone within a phone. I set it up with all the apps, that I use everyday. It's quite impressive.
I've read reviews and have notice people commenting on being able to see the hinge area or fold, however I had to lay my phone flat in order to see it. My thinking is " come on, it's a flip phone, in order for it closethere will be dome slight give. If you don't look for, you won't find it.
Be careful when setting up Emergency, SOS. I accidently placed a call when doing so. I immediately stopped it, but my emergency contacts got notified. I couldn't believe it was so fast. Its a nice feature to have and has put my mind at ease.
One thing that I need to say is if you decide to trade your old phone in and upgrade, and new phone has a esim card, I would recommend not putting your physical sim card into this one. I had a conflict with them. I got home and tried to use my phone and it wanted me to sign bk into my Samsung account, which I did. It then took me to 2 step validation, which was suppose to send as text which it did, but to my Samsung galaxy S9! It kept saying I wasn't on the network, so I couldn't make/receive calls or texts. I'm not sure if it because ai originally got my plan in another state, or because both soms cards showed tje same telephone number. I did take it bk to at&t next day and they thought it was fixed. But later that evening, I had the same issue. I finally took physically sims card out and its working great.
No more seing complet transfer, or click for validation code. Im actually going bk to store to see if they can wipe my physical sim card clean, so I can use it for extra storage, as I know all information from it has been loaded this phone and the cloud.
With all said: I'm loving this phone, and like my Galaxy S9, I'm going to keep it for as long as it works and I have a feeling it will be a LONG TIME. Samsung holds up; like momma said: "if it's not broke, don't fix it."

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think my zflip series is really nice, but I really want the zfold! It's just much bigger for games. I wanted the feel of the old flip phones, is why I chose the z flip.

- A: Hi stevemac001, It does have the side button which by default is to launch Bixby, however, on most of the newer Samsung phones, the button can be programmed to something else.
