If you are outside in the sunlight, it's very difficult to see the screen. I don't like how close the buttons are together, it seems the phone can't keep up with me when I text and tends to leave letters out from time to time. It also likes to freeze up. The battery life is okay. I have to charge it every night or it will die on me the next day regardless of how much I have used it. The camera is so-so,
I do like that it has a memory card slot which you can load your own ring tones and music on. I also like that it only has a few buttons on the main part of the phone, and the screen is pretty big.

I've only had my phone for 3 month's and it's not working the way it should. In order to web browse I have to shut the phone off then turn it back on to get my browser to work. sending picture mail is a pain as I again have to shut the phone off then back on for the mail to send. I won't be buying another Samsung.

Great phone for those who want to keep in touch with grandkids and also enjoy music at work. I love that it has xm radio, which i have in my car. I also that it uses a sd card for my music on my computer. Texting is good, but the keys are small but it is still a great phone.

Only worked for 3 months
I did a ton of research on phones before purchasing the Strive. For the first 3 months, it worked well. Good battery life and speakers for music and ringtones. One complaint was that it was difficult to navigate the web browser and it seemed moody, like it was slow in processing what I was asking it to do. It is also not great for heavy texting, since the buttons are really small and aren't convenient for fast typers. The screen is really too small to enjoy social network sites or email, but as a work from home mom who has constant access to a real computer, it wasn't a huge issue for me. Then one day the "up" and "Enter" buttons quit working, therefore making the phone impossible to use for anything other than talking. Texting and web browsing was impossible without these working functions. I'm back at the store today to find something different. I'm pretty sure I'm done with Samsung phones.
