These devices meet and/or exceed specification (MIL-STD-810H) testing against a subset of 9 specific environmental conditions, including temperature, humidity, dust, shock, drop, vibration, and solar radiation. Devices also tested and meet IP68 rating for dust and water (devices tested in water at a depth of 1.5 meters for 30 minutes and tested in dust chamber for 8 hours) and IPX9K rating (devices tested against 80C water jet spray). Real world usage varies from the specific environmental conditions used in MIL-STD-810H, IP68 & IPX9K testing.
