1Battery usage claims are approximated based on a standard mixed-use profile that includes both usage and standby times based on TCL devices on a nationwide 4G LTE network. Actual battery performance will vary and depend on factors including signal strength, network configuration, age of battery, operating temperature, features selected, device settings, and voice, data, and other application usage patterns.
**AT&T ended 2G and 3G services on its owned U.S. network. We may offer 2G and 3G when roaming. AT&T also may slow your services to 2G speeds when roaming.
All talk, data, and standby times depend on network configuration.

Worst phone Ever
This is the worst phone I've ever had, and I started with those mini bricks way back in those early days. Horrible phone. Everyone sounds like they are Mickey Mouse. The keypad will do double numbers (sometimes triple numbers or letters) when you only press the key once. My old phone (the 3G one they replaced) was a really good phone -- I still use it as an alarm clock. This piece of junk is just that -- junk.
In order to open the phone, you have to hold the phone . However, holding the phone to lift the lid you end up pressing the buttons on the side-- volume or camera. My old phone, that never happened.
The keypad has frozen on me several times. This thing is only two years old and I HATE it. Hated it form the first week of using it. Garbage. Whoever designed it needs to get an F.
My old 3G flip phone purchased in 2014 was fantastic. Not once did the keypad produce double or triple characters, not once did the keypad freeze up, and not once did I press the side buttons to flip it open. AND, it fit neatly into my pocket. The sound quality on the old 3G was excellent. This thing is bigger and does not fit neatly into my pocket. This piece of garbage has really poor sound quality. Also my old phone purchased in 2014 was $14. This garbage is listed as $79.99? Overpriced piece of crappy junk.
don't waste good money for a horrible phone. ATT is absolutely no help.

Terrible

The phone was sent originally with a SIM card that did not work which had to be replaced at the store by an associate.
This phone also will not hold a call, it drops continuously which is not due to service in our area as all of our other devices on our plan work in our area.
No, I do not recommend this product.

The first one we ordered, we finally found out two or three weeks later that it was returned back to AT&T without letting us know the second phone we’ve ordered is still in process and that’s been going on for at least a week without it being shipped yet.

Phone won’t activate. Getting told going to the store is my only option. I live in a rural area 2+ hours from a store. And they can’t restore service to my old phone either

Basic phone

This is a replacement phone used by an older gentleman. Larger buttons are perfect for him. The phone is great but the nano SIM card sent with the phone didn’t work. I had to visit a corporate store for a replacement, then all was well.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Do you have to pay for the service every month or do you have free service every month and you just pay the initial fee how does this work?

- A: Hello, Mfulpy. Thanks for reaching out! To get started, when you place your order, you’ll be charged for this phone's full retail price plus the estimated device sales tax. For your device to make and receive calls and messages and stay connected to our network, a monthly data plan is required. On your first bill, you'll see a one-time $35 activation fee plus your chosen monthly data plan and any other add-ons you previously agreed to. If you don't want any additional features, you shouldn't see any charges other than the activation fee and phone plan. From your second bill onward, you'll only be charged for the phone data plan plus taxes and fees.
