Setting up an Apple ID for a family member
From the Home screen, tap Settings.
Tap your Apple ID profile.
Tap Family Sharing.
Tap Add member.
Tap Create an account for a Child.
Tap Continue.
Tap Credit/Debit Card and add your payment information.
This information is required as consent to create the child account.
Tap Agree.
Enter your child's information and tap Next.
Enter an email address for your child and tap Next.
Enter the verification code sent to your email address.
Enter a password for your child's account and tap Next.
Tap Use on your phone number.
Verification codes for your family member's account will be sent to this phone number. If you would like to use a different phone number, tap Use a Different Number and follow the prompts.
Tap Agree.
Tap Agree again.
Tap Set up manually.
Ask To Buy and Location Sharing can be enabled later in your Family Sharing Settings.
Tap Not Now.
Tap Done.
