Using recovery mode to reset your device to factory settings
Press and hold the Power and Volume Down buttons simultaneously.
The device must be charged to at least 30% battery to perform a reset.
Tap Power off.
If you're unable to reach this screen, hold down the Power and Volume Down buttons until the phone powers off.
Tap Power off again.
Press and hold both the Volume Up and Power buttons until the screen turns on.
Press the Volume Down button until you reach the Wipe data/factory reset option.
Press the Power button.
Press the Volume Down button to navigate to Factory data reset.
Press the Power button.
After this step, the system will factory reset your device. A factory reset will delete all of your data and personalized settings and restore your device back to factory default settings.
