1. From the Start screen, scroll to, then tap the Settings tile.
   
2. Scroll to, then tap lock screen.
   
3. Scroll to, then tap the Password switch.
   
4. Enter the desired password.
   
5. Tap the Confirm password field, then re-enter the chosen password.
   
6. Tap done.
   
7. To unlock, begin by swiping up the lock screen.
   
8. Enter the chosen password to unlock.
