1. From the home screen, swipe down from the Notification bar with two fingers.
   
2. Tap the Settings icon.
   
3. Scroll to then tap Security.
   
4. Tap Screen lock.
   
5. Tap the desired option.
   Note: For this demonstration, tap 'Pattern'.
   
6. Draw the desired unlock pattern, then tap CONTINUE.
   
7. Re-draw the chosen pattern, then tap CONFIRM.
   
8. Select the desired notification display option, then tap DONE.
   
9. To unlock your device, swipe up at the lock screen.
   
10. Draw the chosen pattern.
    
11. To change the screen lock type, from the Security page, tap Screen lock.
    
12. Input the current unlock pattern or password.
    
13. Tap the desired screen lock type, then follow on-screen prompts to set up.
