1. From the home screen, tap the Google Search bar.
   
2. First time users may see a brief "Google Now" tutorial. Tap GET STARTED, and complete the setup.
   
3. To perform a text search, enter the desired search term(s) in the Search field.
   
4. Tap a suggestion, or tap the Search icon.
   
5. Tap the Clear icon to clear the search field.
   
6. To perform a voice search, tap the Microphone icon, or speak the phrase 'OK Google'.
   
7. Speak the desired search term(s).
   
8. To access Google Search settings, tap the Google Now tab.
   
9. Tap Settings.
   
10. Edit settings as desired.
