1. From the home screen, tap Messages.
   
2. Press the Menu key.
   
3. Tap Settings.
   
4. To edit notification settings, tap Notifications.
   
5. Tap the Notifications switch to toggle notification alerts on/off. Edit additional settings as desired.
   
6. To change the messaging display style, from the 'Messaging settings' screen, tap Display.
   
7. Tap Bubble style, then choose the desired message display.
   
8. To access emergency alert settings, from the 'Messaging settings' screen, tap Emergency alerts.
   
9. To adjust text/picture message limit, tap Delete old message.
   
10. Tap the desired option.
    Note: For this tutorial, tap Text message limit.
    
11. Adjust the number as desired, then tap OK.
    
12. To reset to default settings, press the Menu key.
    
13. Tap Restore default settings.
    
14. Tap OK.
