What you can do with your mini cell tower

With AT&T MicroCell®, you can:
  • Use up to 4 AT&T 3G or 4G phones or data sessions at the same time.
  • Approve the use of up to 15 active wireless or AT&T PREPAID℠ (formerly GoPhone®) numbers.
  • Extend coverage up to 40 feet from the device in all directions (about 5,000 square feet).
  • Use the minutes and data from your current wireless plan.

Heads up: We don’t sell MicroCell anymore. However, if you already have one, we still provide tech support for it. Don't have one? Try Wi-Fi Calling1 to talk and text in areas that are hard for even strong cellular signals to reach. Learn more about Wi-Fi Calling.

Activate your MicroCell

Note: Moving your current Microcell to a new location? Download MicroCell Compatible Service Area ZIP Codes (PDF, 3.2MB) for a list of areas where MicroCell service is available. If your new ZIP Code is on the list, then you can move your MicroCell service to that address.

To set up your MicroCell:
  1. Go to AT&T MicroCell Online Management and sign in with your AT&T user ID and password. If you don’t have a user ID yet, select Register to create one.
  2. Follow the prompts to set up your MicroCell device.

Have an iPhone®? Download the free AT&T MicroCell app. Data rates apply for app download and usage.

Important info about 911 calls when using MicroCell

  • You gave the street address of your MicroCell’s location for 911 when you activated it. To make sure that 911 emergency services can still locate you, update the address if you move your MicroCell somewhere different.
  • Give your physical address on a 911 call during a power or internet outage.
