Make a phone call
1. From the home screen, navigate to and select the
Contacts app.
2. Select the desired contact, then select the Call icon.
Note: To make phone calls, AT&T NumberSync™ must be enabled on your iPhone, your iPhone and iPad must be connected to Wi-Fi, both iOS devices must be logged into iCloud and FaceTime with the same Apple ID, and the FaceTime Caller ID on the secondary device must be set to your iPad phone number. Answer or decline a call
When you have an incoming call, select the Decline icon to decline the call. Select the Accept icon to accept the call.

Reject a call with a text message
1. Select the incoming call notification.

2. Select Message.

3. Select the desired message or select Custom to create a custom reply.

In-call options
While on an active call, the following options will be available:

• SHOW/HIDE KEYPAD: Select the Keypad icon.
• ENABLE/DISABLE SPEAKERPHONE: Select the Speaker icon.
• MUTE/UNMUTE: Select the Mute icon.
• CREATE CONFERENCE CALL: Select the More icon then select Add People. Navigate to and select the desired contact.
• SWITCH TO FACETIME: Select the FaceTime icon.
• END CALL: Select the End call icon.
Use Hold Assist
1. Hold Assist allows you to pause a call and use your phone normally while the call waits for the person on the other end of the phone return. While on an active call, select the
More icon, then select Hold Assist.

2. When the person you are speaking to becomes available again, Hold Assist will notify you to return to the call. Select the Hold Assist notification to read the transcript of what the person said when they returned to the call.

3. Select the Phone icon to return to the call.
