1. From the Start screen, tap the Internet Explorer tile.
   
2. If prompted, tap recommended.
   
3. Tap the URL field.
   
4. Enter the desired web address.
   
5. Tap the Enter icon.
   
6. To add a page to your favorites, tap the Menu icon.
   
7. Tap add to favorites.
   
8. Adjust the fields as desired, then tap the Check icon to save.
   
9. To view your favorites tap the Menu icon.
   
10. Tap favorites.
    
11. Scroll to, then tap the desired favorite.
    
12. To open a new browser tab, tap the Tabs icon.
    
13. Tap the Add tab icon
    
14. To switch to a different tab, tap the Tab icon.
    
15. Tap the desired tab.
    
16. Tap the X next to the desired tab to close it.
