Update software
- Make sure your device (phone, tablet, or laptop) is connected to the MiFi 8000's Wi-Fi network.
- From your device's Web browser, go to http://my.mifi, then select Sign In in the top-right corner.
- Enter the Admin Password and select SIGN IN.
- Select Check for update.
- Follow the prompts to download and install the update.
Verify software update
- Make sure your device (phone, tablet, or laptop) is connected to the MiFi 8000's Wi-Fi network.
- From your device's Web browser, go to http://my.mifi, then select Sign In in the top-right corner.
- Enter the Admin Password, then select SIGN IN.
- Select the arrow in the About section.
- Select Device Info to see the software version.
- Your device has the latest software if the software version matches the latest update.
Note: To view the software version on the MiFi 8000; from the home screen, select Menu then scroll to and select Software Update. The Software Version will be displayed.
Troubleshoot software update
- Visit Troubleshoot & Resolve to fix software update issues.
- After installing the software update, visit Troubleshoot & Resolve to fix any additional issues with your device.
