Purchasing a replacement device can be costly and inconvenient. With AT&T Mobile Insurance1, you can protect your investment and get a replacement device quickly to keep you connected. You have 30 days from date of activation or upgrade to enroll. 

You have 30 days after activating your new device to enroll in Mobile Insurance.

AT&T Mobile Insurance includes:

  • Protection against, loss, theft, physical or liquid damage, and out-of-warranty malfunction
  • Delivery of replacement devices as soon as next-day2 for claims approved by 5 p.m. CT
  • Declining deductibles3—save 25% to 50% off the standard deductible if claim-free for 6 months or more
  • Screen repair4—you may be able to get your cracked screen repaired instead of replacing your phone. A certified technician comes to you to replace your screen, as soon as the same day. To learn more and see if your device and area are eligible, go to att.com/protectioncenter.

Filing a claim:

  • Call toll-free 888.562.8662 to file a claim within 60 days of a covered event, such as losing your device.
  • Once your claim is approved, you’ll receive your replacement phone or device as soon as the next day.2

AT&T Mobile Insurance: Must enroll within 30 days of new activation or upgrade. Monthly charges are billed directly to your wireless account. Cancel anytime. Devices: Requires an eligible device with an AT&T wireless plan (excludes GoPhone®) in good working condition at enrollment. Deductibles: Standard deductibles apply. Declining deductibles may apply based on eligibility. Coverage: Provides coverage for loss, theft, accidental physical or liquid damage, and mechanical or electrical malfunction after expiration of the manufacturer warranty period. Certain limitations apply. Claim limits: 2 claims within a period of 12 consecutive months. Maximum value of $1,500 per occurrence. Claims may be fulfilled with new or AT&T Certified Like-New equipment of the same or other models of like kind and quality. Colors, features, and accessory compatibility are not guaranteed. 2Claims received before 5 p.m. CT can be shipped as soon as next day. Deliveries to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands cannot be shipped for next-day delivery. Non-connected devices (applies to Multi-Device Protection Pack only) are shipped within approximately 3-5 business days from the date Asurion receives the device.

3A non-refundable deductible will be charged for each approved claim. Continuously enrolled customers who go claim free for 6-12 consecutive months save 25% off the standard deductible; and at 12 consecutive months or more save 50% off the standard deductible.

4Screen repair: $89 deductible applies. Limited to eligible devices in select markets. Same-day repair appointments available from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. local time, subject to technician’s availability in applicable service area. Claim must be approved by 2 p.m. local time to be eligible for same-day repair. Repairs are performed by an Asurion-certified technician and come with a 12-month warranty. Repairs may use new or refurbished parts and may contain original or non-original manufacturer parts and may void the manufacturer warranty. Declining deductibles don't apply to screen repair. Selecting the screen repair option won't impact customer's declining deductible eligibility. Some colors of eligible devices are not covered.
