1. From the home screen, tap the Messaging icon.
   
2. Tap the Menu icon.
   
3. Tap Settings.
   
4. Scroll to, then tap the Desired options.
   
5. To change the message notification sound, scroll to, then tap Sound.
   
6. Select the Desired notification sound and tap OK.
   
7. To adjust text message limit, tap Text message limit.
   
8. Adjust to the Desired limit and tap Set.
   
9. To adjust picture message limit, tap Multimedia message limit.
   
10. Adjust to Desired limit and tap Set.
    
11. To change the display style, tap the Desired option under Personalize.
    
12. To set emergency alerts, scroll to, then tap Emergency alerts.
    
13. Tap the Desired emergency alerts on or off.
    
14. To view the message center number, tap SMSC setting.
    
15. To restore default settings, tap Restore default settings.
    
16. Tap OK to reset message settings.
