Sadly I have been with you guys for almost a decade and had to end my relationship with att due to not being able to waive an installment fee when it was originally waived. So I ended it and joined Xfinity.

New Customer gets sent old equipment that dies
Got router/wifi hub, looked used. Very used. Plug everything in. Works fine. Then the next month the wifi router just dies. So no internet for awhile. Waiting on new wifi router/hub

Why You should choose AT&T Fiber.
The install was on the date and time promised, efficient, and professional. My speeds have been consistently slightly above 5gb symmetrical with a ping averaging 3ms. I could not be more pleased.

Internet VERY good. AT8T VERY bad!
Internet very good. AT&T VERY bad. Love the internet and was very pleased with the installation technician. However, they tag-teamed with a mobile phone representative at the house too. She made statements to entice me to switch my family’s phone service by making statements and promises that were not true. When I showed AT&T the offers and promises that were made they could care less.

Sub optimal during cold weather
AT&T Fiber performance became highly unstable during freezing weather, with severe latency spikes and packet loss. Our home is new construction, and the fiber drop appears to be buried only about 6 inches deep with no conduit, which seems to make the connection sensitive to freeze/thaw conditions. Support confirmed speeds “within spec” at the gateway, but the real-world service remains unreliable when temperatures drop.
