Use visual voicemail on older Windows phones

Do you have a Lumia 640XL or Lumia 830? Over the next year, we’re updating our voicemail network and you will need to take action. When it is your turn, you’ll have to enter your voicemail password again to get and play your messages.

We’ll send you a text letting you know about the timing of your update. Then, you’ll get another text when the update is complete. We don’t want you to miss any messages, so make sure you open visual voicemail on your phone and enter your password, if prompted.  If you do not do that within 30 days, the message will be deleted.

Enter your voicemail password

If prompted, enter your 4-to-15-digit voicemail password. 

If you forgot your password: 

1. Press and hold the 1 key.
2. Press ## when the voicemail prompt is heard. Follow the instructions to reset your password.

FYI: This only applies if your account has been updated.
