Software update for the Samsung Gear S3 classic (R775A)

Update software

1. On your smartphone, if using Wi-Fi, connect your phone to a Wi-Fi network. Otherwise, it will use your data bucket.
2. In the Samsung Gear app, ensure you are paired with your Gear S3 classic via Bluetooth.
3. On your smartphone, open the Samsung Gear app.
4. Tap SETTINGS.
5. Tap About Gear.
6. Tap Update Gear Software.
7. Tap Download update manually.
8. Follow the on-screen instructions.
9. A notification message appears when the update successfully completes.

Verify update

1. From the Gear S3 classic clock screen, select the Power/Home button.
2. Rotate the bezel to and select Settings.
3. Rotate the bezel to and select Gear Info
4. Rotate the bezel to and select Software version.
5. Your device has the latest software if the Software version matches the current update details.
