  • AT&T smartphone with the latest version of the Alexa app1 installed
  • AT&T user ID and password linked to your wireless number (AT&T Prepaid® isn’t supported)

Set up and use NumberSync

  2. Tap the More option (three lines) and then Settings.
  3. Choose Communication, then AT&T.
  4. Enter your AT&T ID and password, then tap Sign in.
  5. Follow the prompts to link your wireless number to NumberSync.

Use Echo smart speaker

Try a voice command like Alexa, call mom to make sure it’s working.

If you’re having problems making or receiving calls:

  • Confirm you’re using the right AT&T user ID.
  • Make sure your Echo smart speaker is close to your Wi-Fi® router and has a good connection.
  • Reset your Wi-Fi router and try to reconnect your Echo smart speaker.

FYI: If you want to sync an Echo smart speaker to another AT&T WirelessSM number, just unsync the current number. Then, sync the new number to an Echo, making sure it has an AT&T user ID.
