Use Smart Home Manager to control your devices

With Fixed Wireless Internet and a Pace 5268AC Wi-Fi gateway, you can get control of your network devices. Also, learn how to invite guests to connect to your Wi-Fi.

Access Smart Home Manager

Get all your network connections right at your fingertips. Manage your network from your phone using the Smart Home Manager app, or from your computer.Sign in

View specific devices connected to your home network

Use Smart Home Manager to see which devices are connected to your Wi-Fi® network. You can also see the connection type or rename the device. Here’s how:
  1. Go to Smart Home Manager. 
  2. Choose Network then select Connected Devices. Only devices connected to your network will show.
  3. Choose the device you want to view. Once selected, you can change the device name for your network.
Good to know: If Smart Home Manager can’t identify your device type, it will list it as Other.

Invite guests to connect to your home network

Tired of writing down your Wi-Fi info for visitors? Use Smart Home Manager to securely share your network name and password:
  1. Go to Smart Home Manager.
  2. Select My Wi-Fi.
  3. Choose Share Wi-Fi for the network you want to send invite to a guest.
  4. Choose your contact or message option to send the info.

Control internet access to your devices

Using multiple devices but don’t need internet access for all of them at the same time? You can prioritize, pause, or block internet access to your device.

Pause or block device

  1. Go to Smart Home Manager.
  2. Choose Network then Connected devices.
  3. Select the device you wish to pause or block its internet access.
  4. Select Pause Internet or Block Device. When you’re ready to grant access again, choose Resume.

Prioritize device

You can use this process to prioritize which devices get the strongest signal in your network.
  1. Select the device you wish to prioritize and choose Prioritize device. The device will have the best internet access for up to two hours.
  2. When you’re ready to change priorities, choose End priority.
Good to know: You can prioritize up to two devices at a time.
