  • You must connect your device to Wi-Fi® to download the update.
  • Although there should be no impacts to settings or data, we recommend that you back up your media files to an SD card, a computer, or using a favorite application, prior to upgrading the software.

Update software

  1. From the connected device, navigate to and select the Galaxy Wearable app
  2. Select Watch settings, scroll to and select Watch software update.
 

Verify software update

  1. Swipe up from the bottom of the clock screen to access the Apps tray, then scroll to and select the Settings app.
  2. Scroll to and select About watch, then scroll to and select Software.
  3. The Software version displays.
  4. If the Software version doesn’t match the current update; perform additional updates until they do.
