The ACP is a federal government program that provides a benefit on eligible prepaid wireless service for qualifying households, decreasing your bill by up to $30/mo., or up to $75/mo. off your service if you reside on qualifying Tribal lands.

Apply for your ACP benefit

After you’ve checked to see if you might be eligible, visit the federal government’s National Verifier or call 877.384.2575 to apply. AT&T doesn’t determine eligibility. If you don’t qualify, you can still shop our prepaid plans

Fill out the AT&T PREPAID enrollment form

After you’ve been approved, complete the AT&T Prepaid ACP enrollment form at attprepaidacp.com. If you are a new customer, activate your service first and then complete the AT&T Prepaid ACP enrollment form at attprepaidacp.com.

Enjoy your new PREPAID plan

We’ll call or text within 48 hours to confirm your enrollment.

Enjoy unlimited talk and text. Customers who bring their own device get free shipping with all orders and a free SIM. Plus, if you live in a household on Tribal land you may be qualified to get any eligible plan for free.

How the ACP can help you pay for AT&T PREPAID

For those who have qualified, the ACP can help provide $30 per month towards certain connectivity services, including phone and data plans from AT&T PREPAID. The amount of assistance can be as high as $75 per month for participants who live on qualified tribal lands.

AT&T PREPAID options for ACP customers

ACP customers have multiple great options from AT&T PREPAID, including our Unlimited Plus, Unlimited, 15GB and 5GB plans. In addition to phone plans, AT&T PREPAID also offers a 100GB and 15GB hotspot or tablet data plan that is eligible for ACP participants.

  • What is the Affordable Connectivity Program?

    The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a federal program designed to bring discounted broadband service to qualifying households. ACP provides a benefit of up to $30/mo. on your eligible AT&T PREPAID service. (or up to $75/mo. off on Tribal lands).

  • How do I qualify for the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)?

    You may qualify for the ACP if your household income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, you qualify for the Lifeline program, or anyone in your household participates in one of the following federal programs:

    ·         Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as Food Stamps

    ·         Medicaid

    ·         Supplemental Security Income (SSI)

    ·         Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA)

    ·         National School Lunch Program

    ·         Federal Pell Grant

    ·         Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit

    ·         The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

    ·         If a household member lives on federally recognized Tribal Lands: Bureau of Indian Affairs general assistance; Tribally administered Temporary Assistance for Needy Families; Head Start (for those households meeting its income qualifying standard); or, the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations

  • What is the National Verifier?
    The federal government’s National Lifeline Eligibility Verifier (National Verifier), managed by Universal Service Administration Company (USAC), is a centralized system that determines Lifeline and ACP eligibility. To apply for the Affordable Connectivity Program, you can access the National Verifier by visiting affordableconnectivity.gov or calling 877.384.2575 and requesting an application be mailed to you. AT&T PREPAID does not determine eligibility for ACP.
  • How do I get assistance with my Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) benefit?
    If you are experiencing any problems with your ACP benefit, please call us at the AT&T ACP Center (866-986-0963). You or anyone in your household has the option to file a complaint against AT&T (or any other participating ACP provider) via the Federal Communication Commission’s Consumer Complaint Center. See fcc.gov/complaints for the process to register a complaint or call 888-225-5322.
  • How long will it take to get a response from the National Verifier?
    The quickest way to apply is online. In some cases, responses will be in a matter of minutes, but it’s possible it can take several days before you receive a response.
