How to Save on Home Internet Service | AT&T

How to

Save on home internet service

Learn more about our internet deals, offers, reward cards, and more.

What is the most affordable way to get internet at home?

Access from AT&T® is a low-cost home internet service for people in eligible low-income households. You can qualify if you’re in certain government programs or if your income is less than double the federal poverty line. Your internet speed depends on what’s available where you live. Visit https://www.att.com/internet/availability/ to check the speed available at your location.

Internet speeds and offers vary by what’s available at your address. If your home’s top speed is 50Mbps or less and you don’t need unlimited data, you may qualify for Access from AT&T. All Access plans include a Wi-Fi® modem and installation for free. There are no equipment fees, no deposit, and no yearly contract.

Eligible AT&T DSL customers may also qualify for the lower-priced Access from AT&T offer. AT&T Internet Air®, AT&T fixed wireless internet, and other wireless services are not eligible for Access from AT&T.

To learn more about the Access from AT&T program, including the government assistance programs that qualify, or to apply, visit https://www.att.com/access.

What is an AT&T reward card?
AT&T sometimes offers reward cards for customers signing up for new home internet service or AT&T Business Fiber®. The card is issued by The Bancorp Bank N.A. Member FDIC, pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A Inc. and can be used everywhere Visa debit cards are accepted in the United States, District of Columbia, U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.

If you qualify to receive an AT&T reward card, you will be sent an email or letter with redemption requirements within six weeks of activation of qualifying service. Redemption is required within 75 days from reward notification email or mail date. Then, your reward card will be delivered within three to four weeks provided you maintain and pay for qualifying service from activation date through fulfillment. Learn more about AT&T reward cards

Other ways to save on home internet service
There are many ways to save on home internet service. Most internet service providers (ISPs) have deals, promotions, and bundle offers for new and existing customers. See our best deals on AT&T Internet

If you have a low-usage household, you might also consider lowering your speed tier. Just be sure to consider all the devices connected to your home Wi-Fi® and how you use them when choosing a home internet plan. Check out our best home internet plans
