Make & Receive a Call
Place, receive, and reject a call.

- From the home screen, select the Phone app.
Note: To make or receive calls from your tablet, you must update your device to the most current software version and set up NumberSyncTM.
- MAKE A CALL: From the Dialpad, enter the desired phone number then select the Call icon.
Note: To learn about calling or using your device in other countries, visit the AT&T International website.
- MAKE A CALL USING SPEED DIAL: Select and hold the desired speed dial number.
Note: To call a speed dial contact with two digits, select the first digit then select and hold the second digit. To add a number to speed dial, from the phone app select the Menu icon > Speed dial > the number you wish to assign the contact to > desired contact. The number 1 is reserved for Voicemail.
- While a call is active, the Active call icon will display in the Notification bar.
- ADD A CALL: Select Add call.
- Enter the desired phone number, then select the Call icon.
- ANSWER OR DECLINE A CALL: Swipe the Answer icon in any direction to answer a call. Swipe the Decline icon in any direction to decline a call.
Note: To turn automatic answering on or off, from the home screen select the Phone app > Menu icon > Settings > Answering and ending calls > Automatic answering switch.
